In recent months, I've had the chance to attend several shows: I just had the chance to check out a n influence of mine, Chris Broderick ( of Jag Panzer & Nevermore). Thanks again to Chris for once again being so cool and taking the time to chat and wish him best of luck with the Megadeth gig!!! Vital Information-all i can say is WOW! One of the best shows ever. Frank is also very cool! Michael Angelo Batio never ceases to amaze! I've played alongside Enertia and The Sean Baker Orchestra @ The Upstate MetalFest II. My good friend & former teacher, Michael Harris visited - where i was able to catch a show of his. My Bud & Inspiration, Rob Johnson stopped out a show in Columbus-great seeing him again. Thanks for the kind words Rob! I've added some pics to the photo page of my recent trips. I currently have seven songs completed for my first full-length instrumental cd and many other ideas I'm putting finishing touches on. The disc should have everything from neo-classical shred to a couple jazz fusion-pieces. There will also be a blues piece, a flamenco song, a fingerstyle piece or two, as well as a Bach piece.

I just recorded the third song, "Voices Of Confusion", a 12 minute epic at Refraze Studios ( home of platinum recordings from Tim McGraw & The Breeders among others ) here in Dayton,Ohio for Sacred Society's keyboardist, Layne Loxley's solo project. One of the songs, "Falling Into the night" is a cool moody vocal tune with lots of keyboard/guitar interplay and some cool classical/spanish guitar lines which appeared on this year's ProgPower VII sampler in Atlanta.Thev song is already creating a buzz at the Fest as well as on The ProgPowerUSA Forum. The other is a cover of Black Sabbath's "Heaven & Hell" which we hope finds a home on a future tribute cd-anyone interested-let us know. HUMAN PARADOX featuring myself, Chaz Bond, former vocalist of Biogenesis and current vocalist of Metal Blade Record's Jacob's Dream, former Legacy drummer Andy HalL and the addition of bassist Scott Jankovich has the Writing and music far exceeding my expectations! We have been busy recording our debut Cd at Refraze/Aztek Studios in Dayton, Ohio. Most of the basic tracking is completed and the band hopes to possibly even add another few tracks before it's release later in 2008. We still hope to find a keyboardist! For more info visit:
