As lead guitarist of Dayton, Ohio's progressive/power quintet SACRED SOCIETY, Darin has had over two decades to perfect his craft. Darin has been playing guitar for more than 20 years! After beginning his instruction with several formal teachers, Darin credits the instruction from local ( now reknown ) guitarist Michael Harris as helping him shape and refine his playing most. Along the way, Darin also had the honor of receiving instruction through correspondence with Jason Becker and Rob Johnson! After spending time fine-tuning his skills, Darin finally found a home with LEGACY in 1999. Now with his second full-length cd, LEGACY-"Stand And Conquer" to his credit, a disc which includes two instrumental pieces showcasing his abilities, an over-the-top 90 minute instructional DVD/Video entitled, "Building A Shred Arsenal" which is available through one of the top guitar instructional sites Chops From Hell, Darin stands poised to leave his mark on the guitar world. Darin continues to try and expand his skills enjoying everything from blues, jazz-fusion. classical ( with special interests in the neo-classical/prog-fusion metal styles ).
